Head of the High-Temperature Processes Unit at IMDEA Energy (Spain) and senior researcher with over 25 years of international experience in solar concentration technologies, solar thermochemistry, and high-temperature thermal systems. PhD in Physics with a strong track record in applied research, R&D project leadership, and academic–industrial collaboration. He has led or participated in more than 35 publicly funded national and international projects, as well as numerous industrial contracts. Author of over 150 peer-reviewed scientific publications, co-inventor on 8 patents, and Associate Editor of the Solar Energy of Elsevier. Past board member of ISES (International Solar Energy Society, 2020-2024) and secretary of AEDES (Spanish Association on Solar Energy, 2012-2022). Board member of the Group specialized in Energy of the RSEF (Spanish Royal Society of Physics, 2025-current).
